Due to continued growth, the company wishes to recruit a high-caliber professional for the position of Information Security Officer.

Position Title: Information Security Officer (1 position)

Reporting to: Senior Information Security Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of the company's Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) based on ISO/IEC 22301:2019.
• Provide assistance in auditing the external administrator managing the company's main IT system for Information Security matters.
• Collaborate in drafting, reviewing, and improving internal Information Security and Business Continuity policies and procedures.
• Assist in designing and implementing internal Information Security projects.
• Perform internal Information Security audits to ensure compliance with ISMS and BCMS policies among company personnel.
• Assist in the implementation of digital transformation tools supporting governance, risk, compliance, business processes, enterprise asset and enterprise risk management.
• Monitor monthly KPIs related to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certifications and collaborate with the Senior Information Security Officer to identify and execute required actions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Postgraduate degree in the above fields or other related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
• ISACA qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE will be considered an advantage.
• At least two (2) years of experience in Information Security.
• Previous experience or exposure to ISO/IEC 27001 or ISO/IEC 22301 implementation is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong technical writing skills, ideally in drafting policies and procedures.
• An efficient technical posture and interest in continuous learning and professional growth.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain .NET-based solutions according to functional and technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for the developed code and implemented functionalities.
• Maintain and extend developed software aiming to ensure smooth operation, improvement of user experience and continuous enhancement of software capabilities.
• Contribute to the process of defining the architecture and design of software to satisfy business needs.
• Participate in the process of plan definition for development and improvement of software functions.
• Perform System test validations in developed code.
• Remain in pace with the latest developments in the field, aiming to continuously improve the developed software.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field.
• A postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned fields or any other related field is an advantage, but not required.
• Up to two (2) years of experience in software development using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET).
• Good understanding of object-oriented concepts with a focus on writing clean, maintainable and scalable code.
• Familiarity with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL skills.
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as XML, JSON, HTML5, Javascript and CSS.
• Experience working with version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of basic application security practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Greek and English languages.
• A willingness to learn, take initiatives, and grow within a collaborative team environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of basic testing principles.
• Awareness of cloud concepts (Microsoft Azure).

• Contribute to the process of defining the architecture and design of software to satisfy business needs.
• Participate in the process of plan definition for development and improvement of software functions.
• Perform System test in developed code.
• Remain in pace with the latest developments in the field, aiming to continuously improve development process.
• Collaborating with team members in the development environment, offering suggestions for improvement and innovation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field.
• Postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned fields or any other related field.
• At least five (5) years of experience in software development using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET).
• Strong understanding and practical application of object-oriented principles, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable and scalable code.
• Proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React Native, etc.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS SQL Server, including strong SQL development and optimization skills.
• Proficient in using version control systems, particularly Git and Azure DevOps in a team-based environment.
• Working knowledge of secure software development practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Greek and English languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to taking initiatives and contributing to team success.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Progress Telerik controls for UI development.
• Understanding of container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of messaging queues mechanisms (RabbitMQ or similar technologies).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
